Jonathan Bowden

Jonathan Bowden is a dedicated fly fisherman with a passion for the rivers and streams of the Mid-Atlantic and New England, a pursuit he was introduced to at a young age. Raised in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, he developed a deep, lifelong connection to the outdoors that continues to shape both his personal and professional life.

Outside of his time on the water, Jonathan serves his community as a Lieutenant and Assistant Fire Marshal in Lexington, Virginia, where he brings the same discipline, attention to detail, and respect for the environment to his work as he does to fly fishing. Whether wading a mountain stream or protecting the public, he is driven by a strong sense of stewardship and service.

Jonathan serves as a logistical specialist and quality control officer at our festivals in Tennessee and Virginia and he’s quite passionate about vendor relations.

He lives with his wife and their two children, and places a high value on family, which remains central to his life and work.
